Dr. Nelson, a general surgeon, and father of Abbott 5th grade student Erek Nelson, was a guest speaker on Friday, October 5th. Abbott 5th graders are studying body systems, and Dr. Nelson presented a power point presentation on the his specialty "The Guts" or the digestive system. Dr. Nelson did a terrific job of explaining his job with interesting slides from his operating room.
