Dear Parents of READ students,
Each year we seek to find another way to help your child grow and learn. This year in grades 2-4, your child will be receiving his/her READ homework on Thursday(2nd grade) or Friday(3rd and 4th grade). Your child will have multiple days to complete these 3 assignments:
1. Read the assigned short story.
2. Practice the fluency builder 2 or more times
3. Do an assigned story extension activity.
Here are the homework return dates for each grade level:
Grade 2- Wednesday
Grade 3- Tuesday
These assignments will be a part of your child's overall reading grade.

11:00-11:45 (T, Th) Third Grade READ

11:45-12:25 Lunch (M-TH) Friday lunch: 12:15-12:55
12:30-1:00 ELI (M-TH) this person will come at 8:40 on Fridays.
1:00-l:30 4th Grade READ (M,W,F)
1:30- 2:00 ELI
2:15-2:45 ELI
2:45-3:00 Planning
On Fridays READ kids will come to me for a 2-3 minute fluency and/or story prep activity
