The Tasmanian Tiger is a marsupial. It has brown and a little black fur. It is 5 feet long and 2 to 3 feet tall. It moves really fast like a dingo. It lives on the island of Tasmania. It does not build its own home; it just lives in small caves or hollow tree trunks. It prefers wetlands, forests, and grasslands in Australia. Most scientists think the Tasmanian Tiger is extinct because of the dingo. They both hunted for the same food and the dingo is much stronger. The Tasmanian Tiger eats wallabys and other smaller animals. It hunts the animals it eats.
