A cassowary‘s habitat is dense forest in New Guinea, and Australia. What makes Cassowaries so unusual is that they have a growth on their head and it’s called a casque. They use a casque for butting through forests. A cassowary weighs about 120 pounds and they can grow to about 5 feet. Cassowaries fight the weirdest way ever. They fight with there feet. They fight with there feet because they have sharp claws. Their claws are sharp enough to kill their enemies. Cassowary’s are shy animals, and only walk around at night. They also eat small animals and fruit.
