 A few weeks ago I presented information about Analytical Writing Assessment scores of current fifth graders.  This week I will show current fourth grade scores.  Below you see two charts of fourth graders and their scores.  Each dot on each graph represents one student.  If you look at one dot, it shows how the student did on two tests.  Only students that have been in the district second through fourth grades are included.  The chart on the right shows the third and fourth grade Analytical Writing Assessment scores for the students for both third and fourth grades.  The best scores are in the top right hard corner of the graph.  The chart on the left shows the current fourth graders’ scores as 2nd and 3rd graders.
