Art-in-Action

Art-in-Action is an art appreciation program sponsored by Abbott's PTO. For each project, volunteers present an artist's life, work and technique then the students do their own artwork, using the style of the artis Our goal is to create an awareness of art by noticing and responding to different artists and their artwork, the things that made them famous! Our program also fosters an appreciation for art by being able to recognize a style, artist or method.

Art-in-Action also sponsors the artwork in the hallways. The art in the hallways are changed monthly to let the students continue to notice different artists and paintings.
