Parents
at Aldrich receive information about school events in many different
ways. Schoolwide
Newsletter: Aldrich sends home a weekly newsletter
which includes the upcoming week's lunch menu, a running calendar,
and other information parents need to know about our school.Friday
Folders: These folders house the newsletters mentioned
above as well as any other school information.Assignment
Notebooks: Students in grades 3-5 are encouraged to
have an assignment notebook. This allows students not only to record
assignments due but also to write down what was done at school each
day.Curriculum
Night: Each teacher provides parents with the opportunity
to learn about their child's curriculum for the upcoming year by attending
a special evening in the Fall.Parent/Teacher/Student
Conferences: Students are encouraged and welcome to
attend conferences with both of their parents. Each year we have 100%
parent participation and 90% student participation.District
Curriculum Handbook: The purpose of the Curriculum
Handbook is to provide parents with information that connects the
curriculum to the enabling skills. The enabling skills list the specific
skills that are taught at each grade level. |
