Millard and VNA Sponsoring Flu Immunizations 

 

Flu is unpredictable.  It can strike at any time.  Prevention is vital.  Help keep your family healthy by getting vaccinated!  

The VNA has teamed with the Millard Public Schools to offer Flu Immunization Clinics for Millard families. Flu immunizations will be available for persons six months of age and older.  Both flu shots and FluMist will be available.  For persons under the age of 19 years, a parent/guardian must be present to sign the flu consent form. 

No appointments are necessary.   The VNA charges $25.00 for flu shots and $30.00 for FluMist.  Clinics will be held on three Saturdays from 9 a.m. through noon.  Choose the site that is most convenient for you:  

            

· Oct. 11 at Andersen Middle School

· Oct. 18 at Kiewit Middle School

·      Nov. 8 at Russell Middle School

 Did You Know…

 

             The children have recess before lunch now so that they can work up an appetite and be more focused on eating a good meal.  This should also cut down on tummy aches and allow them to hang up their coats and wash before going into the cafeteria.

Food Facts!

             Breakfast is served each morning at 8:25.  Have your child come in the building in the morning and wait in line outside the cafeteria door if he/she wants to join us!

           Would you like to have lunch with your child?  You may bring in a special meal or buy a hot lunch— just be sure to call and order it by 9 AM on the day you are visiting.  Sign in at the office when you arrive, and we will give you directions!
