Officers for 2007-2008 School Year

Wind. Rain. Beautiful sunshine. Snow??  Ahhhh, springtime in Nebraska.  There is a certain rhythm to spring at Harvey Oaks as well.  When new Kindergarten parents start showing up and Bert is talking class sizes, you know you’re into the final stretch.

As I have written in many forms over this past year, what makes our PTO great are the incredible contributions of our parents, teachers, and staff.  In that spirit, I would like to let you know of openings for next year in our organization.  These positions don’t require a grand amount of time, but they do require an ability to have fun and enjoy the rewards of your work.  Please consider your talents (you have many) and think about checking these out!

Vice President – The biggest two parts of VP is coordinating the carnival (our biggest fundraiser) and being the President the following year.  I can tell you that this a once in a lifetime experience to share with your child and family.  A great gig with a great payback!

Ice Cream Social – What a blast!  This is our year opener  (before school starts) and a quick hit job.  Our previous chairperson left an awesome folder that makes this job a breeze to take over!

Carnival Positions – We have openings in the Games and Sweet shop areas.  The carnival is our most important fundraiser, and these roles are fun and give a lot to our organization.

T-Shirt Sales – Coordinates our Fall and Spring sales for our Spirit Shirts.
