Nebraska Career Connections - The Nebraska Career Connections is a collaborative effort of several state agencies and nonprofit organizations to coordinate resources and services through efficient and effective online access for all Nebraskans. This site will be continually developed and expanded as a resource to assist students and adults with career exploration and planning, educational planning and preparation, job seeking, and skill development.

Adventures in Education  - This site has one of the best overall career planning strategies available on the web. It is divided into sections for high school, middle school and college students, as well as a section for school counselors.

America's Career Information Network - Wage and employment trends, state by state labor markets, most extensive career resources library on-line.

America's Job Bank - Are you looking for your dream job? Post your resume, set up an automated job search. Search through this database of over one million jobs nationwide.

Americorps  - This explains the volunteer programs of service to America, like VISTA and The National Civilian Community Corps. Americorps workers also work for Habitat for Humanity, the Red Cross and Boys and Girls Clubs. It is a great program for those who are really interested in doing something for the country as a civilian.

Bureau of Labor Statistics  - Largest resource on labor information available on the web. If you are doing a term paper and need stats on anything related to jobs/careers, this is it!

Job Shadow Day - This is an annual event - usually held in February. Many local businesses participate.
