Learning about his life at Eton and how meeting Anna changed his plans folr his life was really cool.because the book went from his conquest of Eton to his conquest of the seas and showed that even punishments worked folr his benefit. -

Scandal and magic make this book very interesting to read. The twists keep your attention and make you want to read more. This book reminds me of Hocus Pocus, the movie because they both have magic and spells. I can relate to the parts where she is afraid to take responsibility after her grandmother is gone. This book reminds me of Ireland, land of fairies and leprechans. The description of her home reminds me of Ireland. - MNHS

I liked all of the action included like when Scrib was put into a dangerous situations where guns were involved. It was also really like a western-style with all the nicknames like Crazy James. I thought the most exciting part was when Dexter was intruding and Scrib got the rush of wanting to kill someone and getting the chance to be brave and protect others. - MNHS
