Student Review:
1
The book was okay because at times in the story it got confusing and it really didn't have any climax to it. - MNHS
1

This book was an easy read with not much of a plot. There was no climax with no rising and falling of the action.

This book reminds me of a lot of books I read when I was younger. It did not have much of a plot or storyline.
There are two ways in which I can relate to this book. One is that the kids parents are divorces and so are mine. Another is that he is a teenager and we relate in that way.
The way that this relates to the world is that the main character is fat and people tease him and that is a major problem in society today. - MNHS

2
It's a very humorous and cute story. You can relate to a lot of situationa the main character is in. - KMS
1
Entertaining and meaningful at the same time - CMS

I liked this book because it talks about real life problems. The boy named Tristan a.k.a. Tri is over-weight and his parents are divorced. His mom has a boyfriend and after Tri's mom moves in, her boyfriend tells her that he has a daughter. She comes. Her name is Kelly. But Tri's life gets changed completely. Unlike before, Tri is worried about his weight. And Kelly goes out with Tri's best friend Marco. Kelly and Marco leave Tri behind on a ski trip. They start to ignore him. And bully him. He gets tripped up in lunch. And called Doughboy. His mom breaks up with her boyfriend and life gets better. Everything is better again. WINNER! - CMS

I think the vook was okay. It's not the book I hoped it would be. Because it was "Out of Time" the character ws using the time machine to go through the time, and there was lots of passages about other people. So it really confused me. The real reason I didn't enjoy the book was it didn't have a good beginning and end. When I finished the book, I didn't know what the author wanted to tell us. I think the author needed to make some changes to the book. - CMS

Good girl book and keeps your attention. Does alot to do with cliques and school and wanting to be popular. MNHS
2
It had a good story-line, but it had a little twist that made it different from all of the other popularity books. - MWHS
2
It was realistic but also not realistic. Like the popularity set-up of high school was real, but the sacrifice witch part wasn't. - MNHS
2
I got into it very much and it was really hard to put down. It was also a great (unexpected) page turner. - MNHS

This book was like a parody of the movie Mean Girls. I didn't really like it - MNHS
