I really enjoyed this book - so much that I had to finish it - even during classes. The book was unpredictable and that's what I like about it. The book: What Happened to Cass McBride is about a self-centered, rich girl who usually gets her way. She always felt great about herself until she heard that student who asked her out the day before had hung himself. A few days later the brother gave her the wrong pill to make her sleep deeply. He then kidnapped her and buried her alive. When Cassie woke up she realized taht she had been buried alive and there was a little tube in the box. She had to listen to Kyle about his little brother's life. She heard about how his mother had treated him as dirt. And about why he thinks that he had killed himself. As they were talking, Kyle and Cassie realized that it was the mother who had driven him to kill himself. - MNHS |
