1	This book was just okay.
2	I really enjoyed this book.

1	The book started out a little dull. As I got toward the middle it became more and more interesting and I wanted to read it more. It is a great middle school book.
2	This is a really good book if you enjoy politics and suspense.

Tetzner, Lisa and Hannes Binder	Black Brothers, The
	Translation of: Die Schwarzen Bruder. Giorgio, sold by his father to go work as a chimneysweep in Milan, endures terrible hardship in the home of his master until a group of friends and a chance meeting helps him put his life on a new course.

2	This book was the first novel I have ever read. I really enjoyed it. I don't like to read - but now I do because of this great book.
2	The book was very good. It really had me hooked in the first couple of pages. I recommend it if you have a though time reading books because this one is interesting.
1	The pictures wer pretty confusing. The text left things out then let the pictures do the rest. Othen than those reasons, the story was pretty good but it could go into more detail.

	A collection of tales from Florida, Alabama, and Louisiana gathered in the late 1920s.

2	It was pretty good. It had really short stories that were easy to read.
1	I would suggest this for people who like scary stories. Although I didn't find it too scary, it was still enjoyable.
0	I disliked this book because it was hard to follow and they left the story hanging so you didn't understand what happened. Then they jump back into the story. You don't know what happens in the middle.
1	Some stories were crazy.

Tocher, Timothy	Chief Sunrise, John McGraw, and Me
	In 1919, fifteen-year-old Hank escapes an abusive father and goes looking for a chance to become a baseball player, accompanied by a man who calls himself Chief Sunrise and claims to be a full-blooded Seminole.

1	I can't believe Hank was only 15 when he found Chief Sunrise; it got slow in places.
2	The book was very realistic and it is an exciting book. You never know what is going to happen. It had a lot of old baseball play in it.
2	I enjoyed this book a lot. I also share the common love of baseball.
2	Good plot but the start was very vague. The middle was very detailed but didn't talk much about the game they played.

Townley, Roderick	Sky: A Novel in Three Sets and an Encore
	In New York City in 1959, fifteen-year-old Alec Schuyler, at odds with his widowed father over his love of music, finds a mentor and friend in a blind, black jazz musician.

1	It was alright. There were some interesting parts, but a lot of it moved really slow. If you're really interested in music or jazz you would probably like it.


Triana, Gaby	Backstage Pass
	After moving to Miami, Florida, sixteen-year-old Desert McGraw, whose life as the daughter of a rock star has been anything but normal, determines to make a permanent home for herself and her family--even if it means breaking up the band.

2	I could really relate to it being a teenage girl. I would recommend it.
1	I really didn't start to like the book until the end of it. Nothing really happened throughout the book until the end of it.
2	I really enjoyed this book because it shows that everyone has a hard time making friends, even a child of a rock god.
2	It was an interesting book - many things that I could relate to.
2	Great book - easy to read and get into.

Trottier, Maxine	Sister to the Wolf
	Cecile buys the slave Lesharo and treats him as an equal; but they hate their life in the new fort at Detroit and long to be free in the wild. Cecile must make a choice that will affect both their lives.

2	The comparison between native American religion and Catholicism was interesting. And the book was clean! Yea!
1	The story has a good plot, but too many events and thoughts "somehow" happen.
1	It got rather dull in parts but I liked it because I enjoy historical fiction.

Trueman, Terry	Cruise Control
	Companion to: Stuck in neutral. A talented basketball player struggles to deal with the helplessness and anger that come with having a brother rendered completely dysfunctional by severe cerebral palsy and a father who deserted the family.

2	I really enjoyed this book.
2	This book is a great story for young readers that are lost within their emotions.

0	It's a slow read and just keeps talking about Shawn and what he does. Toward the end it starts to pic up but isn't very interesting.

	After a fourteen-year-old orphan named Aminah comes to possess a magic lamp, the wishes granted her by the genie inside it allow her to alter her life by choosing prosperity, purpose, and romance.

2	The book was interesting. I liked the setting.
2	Interesting. Different from other books; neat ending.
2	The best part was the magic lamp.
2	Jasmine's name is Full Moon at a full moon; she gets mean. She betrays Aladdin.
2	I really enjoyed this book. It takes place in an Arabian city and is about a girl named Aminah who is a begger. She begs at the balcony of the Princess and gets a lamp thrown at her head. Will she survive with only this lamp?
2	This book was very good. I loved the magic and suspense.
2	This book is a bit slow at first but once you get into it, it's a pretty fast read. This book is very enjoyable. It has a great plot and a fun book altogether.
2	Fun and sweet. Gives you appreciation and the values of friendship. filled with delightful characters. You won't ever want to put it down.

Turnbull, Ann	No Shame, No Fear
	In England in 1662, a time of religious persecution, fifteen-year-old Susanna, a poor country girl and a Quaker, and seventeen-year-old William, a wealthy Anglican, meet and fall in love against all odds.

2	This book had a lot to do with love. They also talked a lot about the persecution and you feel really bad for those people who suffered. This book is sad but romantic at the same time.
2	It was one of my favorite books I have read.

Updale, Eleanor	Montmorency: Thief, Liar, Gentleman?
	In Victorian London, after his life is saved by a young physician, a thief utilizes the knowledge he gains in prison and from the scientific lectures he attends as the physician's case study exhibit to create a new, highly successful, double life for himself.

2	This book was great. It always has you wanting more. This book is both exciting and easy to read.
2	It had cool characters and some comedy. I never knew what to expect from his different lies.
2	I really like the book. It was suspenseful and surprising to me. I would recommend it to anyone really.

1	Some parts are confusing. The ending was pretty good because it makes you wonder if he is going to steal again.
