The story Aftershock is about a boy named Adam who was in a terrible accident when he was 17 years old. His mother and father had died in the accident when they were on their way home from Seattle - all the way to Bristol, Rhode Island. After the accident, Adam had many medical problems that kind of screwed up his strain of thoughts because of his head injury. He had memory problems that are like flashbacks about this childhood and some of the things he feared in his life. His flashbacks were about his girlfriend and his family. He thought about how he and his girlfriend always had amazing times together and how she was always there for him when the problems he had. His memories about his family was mostly about his mother and how she helped him with every physical and emotional problem he had. - MNHS
