Reflection Due Tuesday….class time will be given today and Tuesday to complete without taking the reflection notebooks home! 

1. You will create a news article on your book with a title explaining what the article is about.  You should include the Who, What, Where, When, and Why of your book, or a scene in the book you are reading at present.  For instance, Who is in your book, and what is happening so far.  Where and when is this book taking place, and why is the conflict happening in the book…how are they solving their problems in the book? 

Example of headline for the Perfect Shot: 

“Family murdered on Bay Circle” …and begin telling who was killed, possible suspects, what actually took place, etc…..

1.      Read towards your 100 pages for this week!  Have a nice time off, and please come to your conferences this week!

1.      Title

2.      4-5 paragraphs

3.      At least 4 sentences in each paragraph.

4.      Strong introduction and conclusion (2 of your paragraphs)

5.      5 underlined word choices. (specific words you replaced instead of warn out words!)

6.      Typed (many are staying after tonight to type in the computer lab.)
